12/14/2023 0 Comments Wreckfest new cars![]() So for high end rev I already said the actual race car livery vehicles, but I did find another car that thrives there is the Camino, it struggles at first but about halfway through 3rd gear it starts screaming at you. For medium weight there is a car that frankly gets overlooked often, Blade, it definitely makes this list for medium weight cars because a medium weight car should have a happy (if not very tenuous) balance, the cars that hit my top list for medium weight mostly come from the racing heroes and legends of the track dlcs, most of the cars with the more recognizably "racing" vibe as their stock look, the way they look when you get them, have either achieved said balance, or are extremely close so you can compensate.įor heavyweight I have to say hearse, wingman and wildking depending on the size of the map.Īrmor hands down goes to bullet, it's the only one I have found that can reach 8.2 so far.Īcceleration, this is another tough one but I have to give it to rebel rat, it works best with high end than low end but I figured out that you can abuse your clutch to stay at the upper limits of your engine, without using that truck though I can only go with sweeper unless I'm off-road at which point it's a toss up between the cop, and the army truck. Weight depends, obviously the bus and bumper car are at the extreme end of their respective weight class, my focus here is how said weight effects the vehicle. Honestly this one surprised me but it falls to the bumper car and raven. Sustainability is a tough one, I'm not meaning how much damage it can take rather I'm looking at how well it keeps its speed around corners. General handling, sustainability, weight, armor, acceleration, high/low rev, and finally: reaction to damaged parts.įor general handling I'm sorry guys but I have to go with the mini Cooper or pocket rocket. Ok.this should be a fun one, I'm going to list what I look for when choosing and then I will list the car if choice for each category, and then I will list my all purpose cars, it really depends on my mindset as to which car on the list I use. So note that even though i drive this car more than any other car, im still battling in my head if gearing 3 or 4 is best. It rivals the raiden on the track in terms of lap times. ![]() You dont need to shift at all and the car just glides past. ![]() If you want to experience something fun, try puttin the tristar (in manual mode) on the shortest gearing and just stay in 5th. Ive even been T-Boned a few times and all it did was push me to the side. Its almost harder to spin me out in this than if i was driving something bigger like a road cutter. On a good note, even though the car is small, it takes bumps realatively good. You have no room for slow corners, otherwise the herd will catch you. Now that usually applies to most cars in this game, however because the tristar is so slow everywhere else, this rule really applies to this car. ![]() Most people assume the car is slow because it takes FOREVER to climb the RPMs to max but once you learn to keep it in the sweet spot up top in every corner, you are gone. Also, more than the other cars this car goes so slow when not in high RPMs. If using manual its definitely a car that needs shifting more than others. When tuning, from left to right goes as follows:
